Saif bin Zayed receives 3 ISO certificates on behalf of Emirates ID
His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the UAE and Vice Chairman of the Emirates Identity Authority, has received on behalf of the Authority three ISO certificates issued by the British Standards Institution.
Emirates ID obtained certification in (ISO 9001 – Quality Management System), (The International Customer Service Standard TICSS ) and (ISO 27001 – Information Security Management System). The certificates were handed by Mr. Paul Fox, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the British Embassy in the UAE.
H.H. Sheikh Saif commended the efforts exerted by Emirates ID family in order to obtain these certificates, calling on all the Authority’s employees to continue such efforts towards achieving sustainable institutional excellence in overall performance and customer services, thereby embody the government strategy seeking to place the UAE as one of best countries in the world by 2021.
The Certificates were handed in the presence of H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Director General of Emirates ID and Mr. Ahmed Al Khatib, General Manager | Assurance and Testing – BSI Middle East and Africa
Dr. Al Khouri emphasized that Emirates ID succeeded in obtaining these international certificates because it follows the approach of the UAE distinguished leadership aiming to pioneer in government services and achieve the highest global positions in accordance with the UAE vision 2021 and the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030.
For his part, Mr. Ahmed Al Khatib stressed that Emirates ID’s success in obtaining such internationally accredited systems reflects its keenness to constantly develop its infrastructure and its commitment to adopt the latest excellence and quality standards and implement the highest global practices, thereby meet the requirements of the overall institutional excellence.
Al Khatib congratulated Emirates ID leadership, management and employees for such an achievement that complements its confident and accelerated endeavor towards providing its customers with innovative, smart and secure services with international standards.
